Girls Summer Baskets

Last week, I shared some summer basket ideas that I made for the girls. I struggled sharing these baskets because I wanted to sensitive to the recent tragic events of George Floyd. Last week, a number of social media accounts chose to mute themselves to amplify the voices of others. While those same accounts continued to remain muted, posting about summer baskets felt strange. Since the first day of summer is quickly approaching, I decided to share some of my findings in an effort to bring a little joy and happiness to the feeds of others.

Originally, I wasn’t going to create a basket for my 11 month old daughter. It doesn’t take much to entertain her and she’s using a lot of summer items from her older sister. The more I thought more about it, I knew there were some items that would be nice to incorporate.

Included in the baby’s summer basket was:

Cuddle and Kind doll

Old Navy Outfits

Nuby Sippy Cup

Nuby Teething Spoon

Pinxav Diaper Cream

Bubbles

Shoes

Here’s a closer look inside her sweet basket.

Next up is the basket for my 3 years old daughter. I had a lot of fun picking out items for her basket because she’s at the age where she enjoys little gifts. When initially quarantined to our home, she made the comment that she wanted a little unicorn doll, so I had that in my head and I’m glad I got it because it’s so adorable. Here are the list of items for my 3 year old’s basket:

Cuddle and Kind doll

Old Navy clothes

Simple Modern water bottle

Bubbles

Old Navy Jellies

Floral Plates

We found these floral plates along with floral napkins (not pictured) from Target. We’ve been using them for our tea parties, snacks and desserts.

My favorite little additions were the bubbles and jelly shoes! Something about glitter and girls that make my heart happy 🙂

Can’t forget about the baskets that I found. Guys, Target!! And roughly $12/each.

Hope that you enjoyed these baskets. They brought some life to our household during the heaviness of the recent current events.

Hi there! I’m Jeanyne and welcome to my little space away from home/work! Whether you are just browsing or looking to connect, I’m glad you stopped by. Looking forward to knowing you better.
