- Starbucks Gift Card. Send a gift card snail mail! Or, if you’re in a rush, send an e-gift card.
- Cards. Unless you have some laying around, Amazon has some nice birthday card designs that will arrive quickly so you aren’t too delayed in your birthday wishes! Looking for some nice wall prints? Check out SincerlyEliseDesigns for great quality prints!
- Balloons. Visiting the birthday boy/girl soon? Balloons are a nice touch to any present and great if you didn’t have enough time to get a gift.
- Electric balloon inflator. Know the secret to NEVER BLOWING BALLOONS AGAIN? This is a great investment and I’ve used my balloon inflator so many times since my daughter’s first birthday party. I would recommend to any family and you can always share with other moms! It will save you A LOT of time.
- Craft Bags. As much as I love decorative bags, these plain bags are very handy. They are:

- gender neutral
- multi-functional (perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, graduations, etc)
- packaged in bulk so you have a few for other occasions
- I keep a stack on hand for last minute gifting and it saves me money when I’m caught off guard and need a last minute gift bag for a friend/family member.
6. Tissue Paper. If you don’t want your gift to look too last minute, tissue paper is a great addition. I usually stick to colors that can be used for multiple occasions: white, red, pink and blue.
7. Stamps. Another great item for the snail mail lover! Change up your style and instead of using the flag forever stamp find a fun seasonal stamp.
*BONUS* Costco sells stamps in bulk! Bulk stamps are great for party invites and Christmas cards.
8. Confetti. Sprinkling a little confetti in a card for a fun surprise!

This is such a good idea. I’ve been toying with the ide of getting a big bin & filling it with quick gift supplies like this for ages— would save me a lot of late night grocery runs for cards!
