Chocolate Zucchini Muffins

A few weeks ago, my Instagram poll showed a vote to see more food recipes on my blog and in my feed– especially reduced sugar and/or kid-friendly ones!

So, here’s my very first blog recipe!! I’m so excited to share a family favorite- chocolate zucchini muffins with ingredients including whole wheat flour, unsweetened applesauce, semi-sweet chocolate chips and NO BUTTER.

Growing up, my mom always made muffins- it was her go to breakfast dish. Since becoming an adult, muffins have a special place in my heart. After graduating with a degree in Dietetics (food and nutrition), it’s still a passion of mine to share food knowledge with the world- so I’m really excited to share this whole wheat flour containing recipe (because cooking with whole wheat flour is tough).

Also, I want to note that these muffins never last in our house especially since they honestly taste more like cupcakes than muffins. Although they are packed with zucchini, you cannot taste it at all. We have to limit my 3 year old, otherwise, she’ll finish them off. If you need more proof on the deliciousness of these muffins, my husband (who typically isn’t a fan of muffins), is the first in line when these come out of the oven.

I hope you enjoy as much as our family does!

Hi there! I’m Jeanyne and welcome to my little space away from home/work! Whether you are just browsing or looking to connect, I’m glad you stopped by. Looking forward to knowing you better.
