When we found out we were pregnant with our second, Addison, I had been introduced to husband and wife team Ohio based photographers, Pasternack + Co. . After viewing their website, I knew they were exactly what I wanted. Voted Best of Weddings in 2020 and 2019 by The Knot, their soft, airy-styled, high quality photos are hands-down some of the most professional photos I’ve ever seen… I hit the jackpot!
Since we took our photos during the winter months, I asked Nicole (wife of Pasternack + Co.) if she was available to come to our home for photos. Since we were renting and had a few eyesore around our home, I was extremely concerned that they would ruin our photos. Nicole reassured me that she could work around this obstacles and it wouldn’t negatively affect our photos. I was a little nervous during our shoot. I’ve never taken pictures inside our house and all I could just think of was the ugly paint color, but Nicole kept reassuring me that the pictures looked great. I still can’t believe she captured such gorgeous images.
Our oldest, Emma, isn’t a fan of pictures. On weekends, when it’s just the two of us, there is usually some push back from her. Nicole, being a mother of 3 children, knew exactly how to make Emma feel comfortable. Nicole was so cheerful, friendly and inviting that Emma couldn’t help but to love her! Our daughter quickly warmed up and the session continued to move along.
Nicole’s talent and positive demeanor made us feel so comfortable. Even though we had just met her, it was like we had been friends for many years beforehand. It had been a few months since our last family portrait session, so we were feeling pretty awkward about how to pose, but Nicole captured our family perfectly.
